1. Tidying up Your Mental Software - Get a Clear and Decisive Racing Brain
If you're a proper racer, your mind's probably full of racing thoughts all the time. So you are already visualising constantly.
But here's the problem: letting your mind wander through racing scenarios without purpose fills your head with useless clutter. It's like those practice days where you just lap mindlessly without a plan. You're not getting better, you're just reinforcing bad habits.

It's about creating a razor-sharp focus on what actually matters for your performance.
Here's how to do it: Sit down, imagine you're in the kart. Visualise driving with purpose. Move your hands on the imaginary wheel, work the pedals, feel the braking and power. When driving doubts creep in - and they will - be ruthless. Cut them out. Start again.
This process is like refining a piece of machinery. You're stripping away everything that doesn't contribute to speed. What you're left with is a streamlined, no-nonsense plan saved in your mind like a perfectly edited movie.
