Act Like a Racing Driver Everywhere
Understand what it means to be the racing driver type, not just what you see on TV, then apply it and blow people's minds. They will back you, buy from you, invest - or maybe marry you!
You’ll remember what it means to be what you are, a racing driver, and you will blow their doors off.
That’s a fact, I’ve seen drivers acting that way in reality and people really don’t know what the hell hit them!
This is one of the most important ideas I can share with drivers—a philosophy that influences everything you do, both on and off the track. It’s about acting like a racing driver in every part of your life, going all in, and refusing to hesitate. This doesn’t just apply to driving but to sponsorship, business opportunities, relationships—any situation where resistance or doubt holds you back.
I’ve worked with countless talented drivers, many of whom are on a career path where benefactors might pick them up. And I’ve seen a repeated pattern: they get a benefactor, lose them, and disappear.
They get crushed by competing against others with easy family money, while they struggle to hold on.
The Trap of the Track-Only Driver
The death of a racing driver comes when they start thinking their entire identity is tied to the track. They act like their life only matters when they’re behind the wheel. Everything else becomes pointless, like meaningless fluff in between races. And you see it in their behaviour. Talk to a driver who isn’t racing, and they’ll seem distant, like they’re not fully there.
To them, the real world feels strange, almost irrelevant, unless they’re cornering at the limit or doing 200 mph. They’re missing the critical point. Being a racing driver isn’t just about driving. It’s about being a certain type of person.
A Racing Driver’s Spirit Transcends the Sport
A racing driver isn’t just someone who sits behind a wheel—they’re a force of nature. This kind of person has existed long before cars.
In history, they’d have been berserkers, riding horses into battle or starting wars for the sheer thrill of it. These are people who don’t calculate their own mortality into everything they do. They don’t weigh risks like accountants with a profit-and-loss sheet. They just act.
If you’re a racing driver, this is who you are. It’s why you’re drawn to the sport. But if all that energy is locked into racing alone, you’re missing the point. Racing isn’t the only goal—it’s the tool that lets you sharpen who you are. The spirit that pushes you on the track can push you anywhere and everywhere. That’s what being a full-on racing driver really means.
Bring the Racing Driver Spirit to Everything
A racing driver has a specific philosophy about life. It’s not something you need to create; it’s already in you. It’s the same force that pulled you into a kart in the first place. My job is to help you see it, make it explicit, so you can describe it to yourself and apply it everywhere.
Think about what this philosophy gives you: the ability to be more powerful, more assertive, more confident. It’s the mindset that makes you say, “I’ll deal with the consequences later, but I’m going all in now.” That’s what separates the great drivers from the timid ones, and it’s what can set you apart in every area of your life.
